Secrets and Inspirations for Life: Unleash Your Inner Power Today

Listen to the Audio Version below:

Our ability to grow in life and to become all that we want to be, is reflected in the amount of learning that we have been willing to experience and undergo during our life. Some people feel that they know all there is to know about themselves and have decided that there is no need to continue learning in this manner. This is a recipe for disaster in that, each and every day, we are presented with far more knowledge through learning than we had yesterday. The acquisition of additional knowledge through each new learning experience can only serve to benefit you.

Here are my suggestions for this week’s affirmation

For Your Mornings:

Be prepared to be a learner today, throughout the course of your day, pay attention to all that you would normally take for granted. When you are challenged either in a positive or negative way, do not act or react like you normally would. Rather ask yourself a very important question - “what am I learning today, from this experience”. Keep a note of each incident or event and ultimately choose one that resulted in giving you the most valuable learning experience.

For Your Evenings:

In answer to the question that you may have asked yourself earlier on in the day. Focus on the value of the learning experience that was your first choice. What were you able to learn? Your answers may surprise you. At times you will have learnt humility, patience, leadership or understanding and at other times it may have been compassion, appreciation, determination, friendship or even love.

As your days turn into weeks and the weeks into years you will realize that you are in the privileged position of accepting the acquisition of knowledge - that is graciously being gifted to you through learning. Allow yourself to become a learner in life and allow the knowledge of what you learn about yourself and others guide you - throughout your journey in life.

To your Inspiration and Success, have a wonderful week!

Are You Grateful For All That You Have?

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

“Even though at times it
seems that nothing is
going right in my life, I
take courage in the fact
that my gratefulness in
all that has passed will
prepare me for all that
is on its way.”

Secrets and Inspirations for Life: Unleash Your Inner Power Today

Listen to the Audio Version below:

There will be times in your life when you are likely to take a step back to look at how well things are going. Whenever we do this, we often feel as if nothing is going right. It is almost as if you have been cursed with bad luck or continuous misfortune.

In reality, this is never the case, you are just going through all that is required of you - in preparation for what lies ahead. It’s at times like this, when you will need to look within and find the courage to just appreciate and to be grateful for all that has already passed in your life and for all that you have right now. When you can face up to adversity, past or present, with a continuous sense of gratitude your fearful energy will begin to fade and you will emerge courageous and far more prepared for all the good fortune that is on its way. Here are my suggestions for this week’s powerful affirmation

For Your Mornings:

Think about all that you have had in the past and all that you have going for you right now. When you attempt to do this - try not to focus on anything you did not have. Do not be too judgemental about whether or not what you had was good or bad, or you feel pleased or displeased. Your aim is to dispel any fearful or negative energy that may tempt you to judge yourself. Trying to judge yourself right now, is not necessary because everything is - as is. Just view all that you had and have right now, from a place of acceptance. Remember, not to just focus on the material things but include other aspects that you have in your life that make you feel whole, such as family, love and friendship - even if you had never considered them before.

For Your Evenings:

Earlier, you thought about what you had in your life , past and present. By now you should have made a mental note of many things that you have had during your lifetime, some you will place great value on - whilst others you may not. That does not matter, because you are going to look upon all of it with acceptance. When the acceptance of all things has seeped into your consciousness - turn your acceptance into gratitude. Be filled today with a full sense of gratitude about everything that you have. Even if you have to express your gratitude out loud, that is okay - just do so. Allow this feeling of gratitude to soak into every fibre of your body, smile silently and feel pleased about everything from your past to the present day. It leaves you with a good feeling about yourself, your life and the realization about how special you are.

I will leave this overwhelming thought of gratitude with you this week, in the knowledge that if you can accept all that has passed, and all that you have now with a sense of gratitude then you are now prepared to accept all the good fortune that lies ahead in just the same manner, regardless of what form or the way in which it will arrive into your life.

To your Inspiration and Success, have a wonderful week!
