Are You Grateful For All That You Have?

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

“Even though at times it
seems that nothing is
going right in my life, I
take courage in the fact
that my gratefulness in
all that has passed will
prepare me for all that
is on its way.”

Secrets and Inspirations for Life: Unleash Your Inner Power Today

Listen to the Audio Version below:

There will be times in your life when you are likely to take a step back to look at how well things are going. Whenever we do this, we often feel as if nothing is going right. It is almost as if you have been cursed with bad luck or continuous misfortune.

In reality, this is never the case, you are just going through all that is required of you - in preparation for what lies ahead. It’s at times like this, when you will need to look within and find the courage to just appreciate and to be grateful for all that has already passed in your life and for all that you have right now. When you can face up to adversity, past or present, with a continuous sense of gratitude your fearful energy will begin to fade and you will emerge courageous and far more prepared for all the good fortune that is on its way. Here are my suggestions for this week’s powerful affirmation

For Your Mornings:

Think about all that you have had in the past and all that you have going for you right now. When you attempt to do this - try not to focus on anything you did not have. Do not be too judgemental about whether or not what you had was good or bad, or you feel pleased or displeased. Your aim is to dispel any fearful or negative energy that may tempt you to judge yourself. Trying to judge yourself right now, is not necessary because everything is - as is. Just view all that you had and have right now, from a place of acceptance. Remember, not to just focus on the material things but include other aspects that you have in your life that make you feel whole, such as family, love and friendship - even if you had never considered them before.

For Your Evenings:

Earlier, you thought about what you had in your life , past and present. By now you should have made a mental note of many things that you have had during your lifetime, some you will place great value on - whilst others you may not. That does not matter, because you are going to look upon all of it with acceptance. When the acceptance of all things has seeped into your consciousness - turn your acceptance into gratitude. Be filled today with a full sense of gratitude about everything that you have. Even if you have to express your gratitude out loud, that is okay - just do so. Allow this feeling of gratitude to soak into every fibre of your body, smile silently and feel pleased about everything from your past to the present day. It leaves you with a good feeling about yourself, your life and the realization about how special you are.

I will leave this overwhelming thought of gratitude with you this week, in the knowledge that if you can accept all that has passed, and all that you have now with a sense of gratitude then you are now prepared to accept all the good fortune that lies ahead in just the same manner, regardless of what form or the way in which it will arrive into your life.

To your Inspiration and Success, have a wonderful week!

What Do I Have To Be Thankful For - In My Life?

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

“Let me express my thanks
often and willingly for
I realize that by doing so,
I will always have more
to be thankful for in my life.”

Secrets and Inspirations for Life: Unleash Your Inner Power Today

Listen to the Audio Version below:

No matter what your situation, there is likely to be someone else out there - that is far worse off than you. We are all guilty of taking most of what we have in our lives for granted. It also seems to be a familiar pattern of human nature that we tend to focus on what we do not have - rather than on what we do have. This inspiration is to inspire you to be thankful for all that you do have, therefore allowing your energy to flow and start creating more situations into your life that will allow you to “have more to be thankful for.”

For Your Mornings:

Try to think about all that you have in your life right now, as opposed to all that you do not have. Don’t think just about material things like owning a home or new car, but include intangible things like the love of your family and children. Maybe, you have a passion for something that you are proud of, you may have a hobby or collection that you take pride in. Were you able to do something special (either as a child or as an adult) which you realized came so naturally to you that people even complimented you or commented about just how good you were - but you thought little of it? Throughout the day, make a mental note of all these things. Do not judge yourself in anyway, just make a mental note of as much as you can.

For Your Evenings:

Earlier in the day you made a mental note of all the things that you considered that you “had” in your life. Were you surprised to learn that, aside from the material things, your list was a lot longer than you realized?

Before you fall asleep, whisper or give silent thanks to all those things that you now realize that you do have in your life. Remember that If you are able to ”express” your thanks “often and willingly” you will start to attract more into your life that you can be thankful for.

I will leave this inspirational thought with you this week, in the hope that regardless of how little you may feel you have, there is always someone out there who is far less fortunate than you, therefore you should continue to always look upon what you have in a thankful way.”

To your Inspiration and Success and have a wonderful week!
