What a wonderful opportunity we have today to express our honor; joy; thanks; and appreciation to all mothers, from around the world.

In remembering motherhood, we honor the essential role that all mothers have come to play in the lives of all their children; and as mothers, we embrace the role of motherhood, which has been bestowed upon us all - as guardians and keepers of our children.

Regardless of how we may each come to individually judge, what we may consider to be the successes or failures of our mothers, we cannot help but truly acknowledge their unique presence in our lives.

Where our ability to live in appreciation of their presence, is to acknowledge all they have shared and given of themselves - which has ultimately come to also benefit us.

Today, let the memory of all mothers, either present or passed; be cherished within our hearts; minds and souls. For in more ways than one, we will have discovered within each of us that unique, yet essential part of them - which will always continue to exist and live on - within us all.
