When you think about your life and the direction that you are headed in, do you foresee an outcome? This is an important question because it is so easy to amble through life without giving it much thought. Perhaps you prefer to just go with the flow, just to see where life takes you; maybe then, you will find out – how you turn out. Surely this would certainly make life a lot more easier – but would it? Today, I would like you to consider the outcome of living life in this way because, whether you like it or not, you are ‘an integral part in determining the outcome of your life.’ Let us try to examine this viewpoint to see how you can apply it to yourself more readily and ultimately begin to have more say in determining the outcome of your life.

Here are my suggestions for this week’s empowering affirmation

For Your Mornings:

Consider what you are doing in your life right now. Where are you heading and what steps are you taking to get there? If you do not know where you are headed, are you just ambling from one day into the next without any clear objective or direction? Are you just passively hoping that life will lead you somewhere or take you in the right direction? If so, have you thought about where your present thinking and actions may lead you? On the other hand, if you are clear about where you are going and have a good grasp on all that you are doing – have you ever considered what the full outcome will be and how it will impact your life?

For Your Evenings:

What conclusions were you able to draw from your present actions and how will they impact you? The great thing about life is that nothing is set in stone. So, if you realize that you do not like what you are doing right now, or you need to shift direction then – you can immediately begin to do so.

Make some important changes in your life today, by starting with the realization that you are the most influential person that you have in your life right now, because you are ‘you’. This understanding also makes you one of the most instrumental people in determining the outcome of your own life. Be re-assured rather than fearful about this realization, so that you may feel empowered rather than dis-empowered by all that you now need to do – to determine the outcome of your life.
