It takes great courage to accept the part that you will come to play in your life. For with it, you come to realize just how responsible you will need to be in directing yourself towards all that you want to achieve and more. It is far easier to let go and allow life to take you in whichever direction it sees fit. Yet, what if you do not like the direction you are being taken in or you are unhappy with what you have experienced in your life thus far? In fact, what do you do to bring about change, if you find yourself in this situation? Firstly, if you do not begin to think about what you want out of your life and where you intend to lead yourself, then it is likely that ‘life’ alone, will not lead you anywhere. It is important that you become a leader in your own life and like a leader, you take the initiative to lead yourself towards all that you want in your life.

Here are my suggestions for this week’s inspirational affirmation

For Your Mornings:

Think about whether or not you are passively choosing to allow ‘life’ to take you in whichever direction it chooses. Or, are you already a leader of your own life? It is well worth considering these two options because where you may end up, depends upon your consideration about which – of the two – takes precedence. When you have had a little time to ponder these questions; ask yourself why you would not want to become a leader of your own life? If not, then who are you expecting to lead you where you need to go – if nonother but yourself?

For Your Evenings:

Which of the two questions that I posed to you earlier took precedence? The beauty of life is that we are always given the opportunity to make changes in our life, even if everything is going according to plan. If it is not, then we have the power to make the necessary adjustments to get ourselves back on track.

Think about how you can emerge into someone special today, by becoming a leader in your life. How would this decision impact your life and the lives of your family and friends? Remember, life has been made available to you, so make of it what you will, in the manner that you choose. This understanding will allow your leadership to shine through, so that you can begin to take yourself through life – in the way and manner that you choose – to experience life.
