“I am responsible for all
things in my life, therefore,
I can never blame another
– for what I have created.”

If we are not brought up with a strong sense of responsibility, it is likely that when things go wrong in our life, we will begin to look at everyone else to blame – except yourself. Call it human nature, but it is so hard to look at yourself and see yourself as you truly are. A pure reflection of all that you have been responsible for and are creating in your life.

Here are my suggestions for this week’s positive affirmation

For Your Mornings:

Allow yourself to reflect upon a major situation or event where you; either refused to accept responsibility for it or immediately apportioned the blame on another. Some of us may be spoilt for choice here because accepting responsibility has never been one of our strongest points. If you fall into that category then, believe me, you would certainly not be alone. Whilst choosing your event, select the one had the most impact – if not on your life then the lives of others. Think deeply about what part you had to play in its creation and ultimately in its aftermath?

For Your Evenings:

With regards to the event, you chose – could accepting responsibility without blame have changed the outcome in any way? If so how? If not, how would you handle a similar situation – if it were to arise again? This time consider how you could approach it with a new sense of responsibility. Regardless of whether you believe you were right or wrong, I would like you to consider how important it is to become responsible for all things that are taking place in your life. If you can do so, you will find that you will never be able to apportion blame on anyone else – as your newfound sense of responsibility will just never allow you to do so.

Let today be a day of responsibility. Accept responsibility for all things, the good, the bad and the indifferent. Drop all thoughts of blame that you may have regularly placed on another; your parents; your siblings; the husband, the wife; the friend; the partner; the relative; the family; the business; the government; the boss or even your co-workers. None of them are to blame for anything that you may have been willing to blame them for. As a creator of all that is happening in your life, accepting responsibility will automatically enable you to begin creating – all that you want in your life.

To your Inspiration and Success, have a wonderful week!
