“Let me not reflect upon
what it is, that I have lost.
But rather, at what it is
that – I have gained.”

Although we can all accept that both winning and losing are a part of life’s learning; it is very difficult to appreciate, what can possibly be learned or gained – from experiencing either loss or defeat?

The ambiguous nature of life’s learning means that some advantages or opportunities in life present themselves – not as we expected them to be – but how they were meant to be. Where a loss, may become a gain; initial defeat, may turn into triumph; or a failing, turn into inexplicable success.

Remember that in facing up to your losses or defeats, you must never reflect upon what it is you have lost, but rather what it is that you have gained. Your ability to embrace this ambiguity in life will help to ensure that you will always have something to gain, from all that you will come to experience in your life.

Today, regardless of your losses or defeats, may you remain steadfast and strong in all your endeavors; secure in the knowledge that something good will always emerge or will be gained by you – from undergoing such a life experience.

What is gained – either in learning more about yourself; the experience; or others; will always come to serve you later on in your life, even if it is not yet immediately apparent to you. Where you emerge and evolve – not just as who you were – but into the person that you were truly meant to be.
